Vynova Group confirms that the construction of its new state-of-the-art potassium hydroxide (KOH) membrane electrolysis facility in Tessenderlo (Belgium) remains fully on schedule. In addition to the KOH conversion project, Vynova plans to significantly expand the sodium hydroxide (NaOH) capacity at its Tessenderlo site. Both investments reconfirm the company's commitment to the KOH and NaOH markets.

Vynova has signed the Operation Clean Sweep^_® pledge and is committed to the clear goal of zero emissions of plastic pellets, flakes and powder to the environment. Operation Clean Sweep^® (OCS) is a key sustainability programme of the global plastics industry and one of a framework of global initiatives focused on the elimination of marine litter. Some of the plastic litter comes from pellets and powder entering open waterways and ultimately into our seas.

ICIG’s Vynova Belgium today announced the closing of a financing package of more than EUR 50 million to fund the KOH conversion at the Tessenderlo site.

Following its August 2015 announcement, Vynova Group, an affiliate of ICIG, confirms it has started with the field construction of the new world scale KOH membrane facility at its Tessenderlo (Belgium) site.

On 1 February 2016, Vynova Tessenderlo NV, Vynova Runcorn Ltd and Potasse et Produits Chimiques SAS (PPC) announced that they will combine their overall sales and business management activities under Vynova International. The new integrated sales team will cover all of the chlor-alkali products being produced on these 3 sites.
