Vynova wins two Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe

Vynova was crowned twice at the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2018. The company won both the PVC category award and the overarching award on Polymer Quality. The prestigious prizes are voted for by customers and recognise Vynova’s performance as a key supplier to the PVC industry.

In total, the annual Best Polymer Producers Awards reward ten winners. One company is crowned for each of the nine polymer categories (PVC, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PC, PET, PP, PS and ABS). In addition, an overall winner is rewarded in an overarching category on Polymer Quality, covering all polymer types.

Vynova President Stefan Sommer received the two awards from Elżbieta Bieńkowska, EU Commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, at a ceremony that took place during the European Plastics Converters (EuPC) conference 'A Circular Future with Plastics' on 24 May in Milan, Italy.

“We are delighted that our customers have recognised our commitment and contribution to the vinyls value chain. As a leading European manufacturer of high-quality PVC resins, we are committed to make a positive impact on our customers’ business needs. These awards are a sign that our customers value our on-going efforts to be a strong and reliable partner to the industry”, commented Stefan Sommer.

The winners of the Best Polymer Producers Awards are selected on the basis of a European-wide customer satisfaction survey conducted by the Polymers for Europe Alliance. Over a period of three months, users of polymers all over Europe rated their suppliers’ performances via a confidential online voting system. The polymer suppliers were evaluated on five key criteria: Delivery Reliability, Polymer Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Communication and Innovation.
