Vynova inaugurates new KOH membrane electrolysis facility in Tessenderlo, Belgium

Vynova Group today inaugurated its new, state-of-the-art potassium hydroxide (KOH) membrane electrolysis facility in Tessenderlo, Belgium. The plant is the result of a major conversion project which was concluded in April 2018, ahead of schedule. The project involved a 65 million euros investment and is part of a larger investment programme of more than 100 million euros at the Tessenderlo site.

Vynova wins two Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe

Vynova was crowned twice at the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2018. The company won both the PVC category award and the overarching award on Polymer Quality. The prestigious prizes are voted for by customers and recognise Vynova’s performance as a key supplier to the PVC industry.

Vynova expands its Tessenderlo potassium derivatives portfolio

Vynova Group has expanded the product portfolio of its Tessenderlo (Belgium) site with potassium carbonate (K2CO3) liquid. The same product is already produced on the site of Potasse et Produits Chimiques SAS (PPC) in Thann (France). Both Vynova and PPC are owned by the International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG), making the group now the only potassium derivatives producer with two European sites supplying potassium carbonate liquid.

VYNOVA continues investing: KOH conversion on track, NaOH expansion announced

VYNOVA Group confirms that the construction of its new state-of-the-art potassium hydroxide (KOH) membrane electrolysis facility in Tessenderlo (Belgium) remains fully on schedule. In addition to the KOH conversion project, VYNOVA plans to significantly expand the sodium hydroxide (NaOH) capacity at its Tessenderlo site. Both investments reconfirm the company's commitment to the KOH and NaOH markets.

VYNOVA has signed the Operation Clean Sweep® pledge and is committed to the clear goal of zero emissions of plastic pellets, flakes and powder to the environment. Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS) is a key sustainability program of the global plastics industry and one of a framework of global initiatives focused on the elimination of marine litter. Some of the plastic litter comes from pellets and powder entering open waterways and ultimately into our seas.
