Johan Van Den Broeck, Executive Vice President Commercial of Vynova Group, was voted in as the new Chairman of the Management Committee of Euro Chlor, the European chlor-alkali industry association. He will hold the position for the next two years.
Vynova, a leading European PVC and chlor-alkali company, and Nicoll, European leader in thermoplastic solutions for the building sector and part of Aliaxis Group, have sealed a commercial agreement to use bio-attributed PVC for Nicoll’s HOMETECH® silent wastewater evacuation system. This will enable Nicoll to offer a low-carbon solution without any compromise on quality, durability and performance.
Vynova has completed a major investment at its VCM plant in Tessenderlo (Belgium), replacing the refrigeration units of both VCM production facilities with state-of-the-art, more environmentally friendly refrigeration installations. The project was carried out over a period of 3 years and represents a total investment of 18.5 million euros.
Vynova, a leading European PVC and chlor-alkali company, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art hydrogen-fired steam boiler system at its site in Tessenderlo, Belgium. By the end of this year, the company will install a second, identical steam boiler. Thanks to both boilers, Vynova will reduce the CO2 emissions of its Tessenderlo production site by 10,000 tonnes per year. The project represents a total investment of more than 8 million euros.
