Vynova today announced the launch of a research & development programme to further advance PVC recycling and help the PVC value chain accelerate towards circularity. Vynova’s innovation efforts focus on technologies to remove heavy metals from dissolved rigid post-consumer PVC waste such as used window profiles or pipes.

Vynova, a leading European PVC and chlor-alkali company, today announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative - a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

Vynova has been awarded a Platinum rating for its sustainability performance by EcoVadis, a leading independent provider of business sustainability ratings. Platinum is the highest rating awarded by EcoVadis and the result places Vynova in the top 1% of over 130,000 companies assessed across 220 industries and 180 countries.

Christophe André, CEO of Vynova Group, has signed the Antwerp Declaration on behalf of the company. The Antwerp Declaration calls upon EU and national policymakers to take 10 urgent actions to restore competitiveness of industry in Europe.

Vynova Group, part of the International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG), plans to invest a high double-digit million euro amount in the construction of a plant complex for the production of all common sodium and potassium alcoholates at the Lülsdorf site in Germany.
