For the fourth time in its history, Vynova was named best PVC producer at the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe. In addition, the company won the overall award across all polymer categories. The prestigious awards are voted for by customers and confirm Vynova’s performance as an outstanding supplier to the PVC industry.

The Vynova sites in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, and Beek, the Netherlands, have successfully achieved certification under the OCS (Operation Clean Sweep^®) Europe Certification Scheme. Vynova’s site in Mazingarbe, France, had already received this certification as first PVC production site in the world in 2023, meaning all Vynova PVC production sites are now OCS certified. This accomplishment aligns with the company's sustainability strategy and underscores Vynova's commitment to minimizing PVC powder loss to the environment.

Vynova has released its annual Sustainability Report, showcasing the company’s achievements and advancements in sustainability throughout 2023.

International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG) today announced the acquisition of the European Advanced Organics business from Valtris Specialty Chemicals. The acquisition includes production plants in Tessenderlo (Belgium) and Maastricht (the Netherlands) as well as the benzyl chloride and derivatives portfolio manufactured at those sites. The Advanced Organics business joins Vynova Group, the chlor-vinyls platform of ICIG, and has been renamed Vynova Advanced Organics.

Vynova today announced the launch of a research & development programme to further advance PVC recycling and help the PVC value chain accelerate towards circularity. Vynova’s innovation efforts focus on technologies to remove heavy metals from dissolved rigid post-consumer PVC waste such as used window profiles or pipes.
