The 6th Avenue Loader is responsible for the safe loading of tankers to meet business requirements, following detailed operating instructions and complying with the site instruction for loading and offloading operations. The loader will also have responsibility for controlling operations and tanker access into the area to comply with the basis of safety for the loading asset.
The Runcorn Vynova Asset is currently undergoing a major investment programme, with the new plant currently undergoing commissioning. This is an excellent time to join our dynamic team as there will be substantial responsibility from day 1 as you will help drive the asset through this critical period.
Location : Runcorn (UK)
Responsibilities include:
- Use of a DCS computer and a series of manual operations to load tankers safely and efficiently while complying with local and site procedures
- Responsible for checking the drivers paperwork including movement orders and authority to load documentation
- Ensure there is enough product available to load tankers
- Ensure tanker drivers comply with safety procedures and PPE requirements whilst in the loading area
- Controlling maintenance activities in the loading area including, preparation, keeping up to date with work control sheets and ensuring this meets the required standards
- Provide training to new loaders and tanker drivers in line with local and site procedures
- Provide support and assistance to the Shift Team in the event of Plant incident/emergency
- Provide support during plant TARs to event teams
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of grade 5 in Maths and Chemistry GCSE
- NVQ Level 2 in Process / Loading Operations
- Ability to understand process diagrams and systems
- Self-motivated and a strong drive
- Comfortable working as a lone worker
- Full clean driving licence
