For our site in Mazingarbe 62670 - France, we are looking for an Innovation Engineer.


As  Innovation Engineer, you support the PVC activity on 3 PVC plants of the Vynova group.

  • You lead PVC Synthesis Research projects in collaboration with the industrial sites of Beek, Wilhelmshaven and Mazingarbe and the academic partners of the Quality and Innovation Department of Vynova
  • You propose and are in charge of improvement actions to ensure the evolution and optimization of the production tools, in collaboration with the process engineers of the sites
  • You manage the process books of the PVC units
  • You follow the progress of studies, tests and industrial projects and write the reports
  • You perform the monitoring of raw materials in collaboration with our suppliers, ensure the patent and literature review on the synthesis of PVC and administer the research tax credit of the department.
  • You model processes on aspen according to the needs defined during technical reviews
  • You are in charge of the recycling activity of PVC and maintain a state of the art
  • You lead the internal and external collaborations on this strategic project
  • You report directly to the Quality Innovation & PVC Technology Manager in Mazingarbe

  • You have a Doctor degree in chemical engineering or in process engineering
  • You are beginner or have an experience of minimum 3 years on a similar position
  • You have the knowledge of production processes, raw materials and polymerisation kinetics
  • You master statistics, chemometry and are trained in the use of Aspen
  • You speak and write fluent French and English
  • You place your action at the heart of the concerns : safety, energy management, environment and quality
  • You are critical and investigative and you are action-oriented
  • You work well together in a team, but you are also able to make decisions independently
  • You like variety and have a broad field of interest
  • You are travelling regularly on the different production sites of Vynova
